MADNESS PHOTOGRAPHY

Madness Photography started as an official, serious company in 1998.
But the history of Madness Photography started long before. Onno “Berserk” Wieringa, founder and owner of Madness Photography, has been a self-taught photographer since he was a little kid and started to take pictures of something he loved since the day he was born: motorcycles!

His motorcycles
After he finished high school, he started working for various Harley-Davidson shops, where he learned to work on bikes. At the age of 17, he already owned two Triumph’s and when he was eighteen he had four Triumphs and a Suzuki GT 750. After getting his drivers license, when he was eighteen, the Triumphs all had to go and were replaced by a bike that he had wanted since the day he was born; a Harley-Davidson. This bike is still in his life; it’s an FXE-F 1200 Super Glide Fat Bob, which has been rebuild and modified endlessly and ridden for many miles. Going everywhere on the bike, there was one thing he always had in his pocket; his camera!
At the age of 23 he started drag racing, and he and his team named “Midnight Madness”, raced the bike on all the major races and drag strips all over Europe. He has competed in many classes; starting with the Street bikes, than Ultimate Street Bike, Super Stock, Pro-Stock, and then finally in the fastest gas burning class; Top Gas! Also again taking thousands of photo’s of everything interesting, at every racetrack! Being a racer for more than 18 years gave him insight in the world of fast bikes, and he’s still involved in the world of drag racing as a helper/mechanic and of course photographer / reporter.

Tools and Parts from JIMS

New tools and parts from JIMS

JIMS continues to design and develop specialist tools for engine builders and one of the latest is its vacuum fed fork filling tool. The patent pending tool is said to eliminate the need to remove the fairings on Touring bikes to change the fork oil.

JIMS claims that with the tool it should take about 30 minutes to perform the service compared to 2.2 hours without it.
To drain the fork, simply insert the tapered fitting into the drain hole and create a vacuum using a standard Mityvac hand pump. Once approximately 23lbs of vacuum pressure has been reached rotate the valve and instantly the vacuum will draw the pre-measured amount of fork fluid into the fork tube.
Useable on all common damper tube type fork assemblies, the tool is not for use on motorcycles using cartridge type forks or inverted fork assemblies. This tool is designed for use in conjunction with a Mityvac tool No. 741, which is available separately.

Alongside new tools, JIMS is also releasing new derby and timing covers. The covers feature a 'Cubic Inch' motif. Made from polished billet aluminum, the covers feature cubic inch numbers silkscreened with military grade ink, and are designed with a concave back side to fit lock-up clutches. The covers come in both JIMS and other manufacturers' most popular displacement performance engine sizes.

Photo's of the Harley-Davidson Club ’t Centrum Int. Rally

Events and H-D Rallies, what makes the difference between a good and a bad one? Well, besides the weather, it’s the people, the way an event is organized and of course the location plays a small role too.

The 44th H-DC ’tCentrum Int. Rally in Maarsseveen, The Netherlands, is one of those rallies you just have to go to. The location at the Lake is beautiful, the weather always, as in every year, is great, but the main thing is the nice people and the relaxt way the Rally is organized.

Believe me, it’s a shitload of work, time and energy to get a Rally like this
